My Story

Cari Meixner (they/she) is a Chicago-based actor and singer. Chicago credits include: Verböten (House Theatre) Queen of the Mist (Firebrand Theatre - 2019 Equity Jeff Nominee, Best Ensemble), 1776 (Porchlight Theatre), and Spring Awakening (Blank Theatre). Other regional regional credits include: Fun Home (CATCO) and The Flick (Weathervane Theatre). Kent State University, BFA Musical Theatre. Proud member of Ring of Keys, a musical theatre advocacy program for queer women, transgender, and gender non-conforming artists. As always, for Ren.
